A brief is not merely a document of requirements, but more importantly, is a subtle but thorough understanding of the client’s lifestyle and sense of comfort. Understanding of the brief along with an in-depth study of the site are the foundations of a well-executed, time and cost-efficient design journey.

A well thought out design seamlessly incorporates all mechanical, electrical, AV, and plumbing requirements, providing the clients with an almost invisible setup. This is an intensive to-and-fro process between the designer and the MEP consultants, the result of which is a detailed set of tender and construction drawings documenting every nook and corner of the space. This thorough exercise on paper saves the clients a great deal of time, effort and money during execution.

The factors we take into consideration while selecting hard and soft finishes are the design concept, the highlights and challenges of the geographical location, the cultural history of the place, the desirable effects of sunlight and interior lighting to be achieved, the acoustics, fire safety, slip resistance and more. Similarly, each custom furniture has it’s own set of drawings for the woodwork contractor and all decorative lighting are specified to suit the design concept. 

A good concept is like a piece of art. The artist brings together numerous colors and shapes, i.e. the client’s requirements, to create a harmonious and bespoke masterpiece that reflects his/her own creative identity. The first step to this masterpiece is the presentation of our ideas in the form of mood boards and sketches, followed by a detailed concept development using technical drawings.

As part of our commitment to deliver great designs, we make frequent site inspection visits and prepare detailed reports on the progress of site works, pointing out the inconsistencies and lack of proper finishing in order for the contractor’s team to up their workmanship. At this stage, we also resolve any unprecedented structural issues that may arise during demolition works. Once the site is ready, we assist with styling the space with furnishings and decor for the final handover.
